Environmental Policy

Our Commitment

Countrifi provides a range of temporary and permanent Wi-Fi and internet solutions for homes, businesses and events across London and the East of England. We recognise that our operations have an impact on the environment, and we are committed to conducting our business responsibly to reduce that impact wherever possible.

Our Objectives

We aim to minimise our environmental footprint through efficient use of resources, responsible waste management, and continual improvement of our environmental performance. We will ensure that environmental considerations form an integral part of our business decisions and daily operations.

Our Key Actions

• Reducing travel impact: We plan and combine journeys efficiently, make use of remote technologies, and select fuel-efficient routes to reduce emissions from company vehicles. We are currently trialling an electric vehicle to see how whether we can adopt this technology for more of our vehicles for our local clients.
• Energy efficiency: We actively reduce energy consumption in our offices and during installations by using energy-efficient equipment and encouraging staff to adopt energy-saving habits. This includes energy efficient lighting and low power / Solar devices where possible.
• Waste reduction and recycling: We recycle materials wherever practical and ensure the responsible disposal of electrical and electronic equipment in line with WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulations. We are working with an international supplier to try and encourage them to reduce the amount of single use plastic in their products. Whilst they address these issues we are electing to source using a supplier that has very little single use plastic in their products and packaging.
• Sustainable sourcing: We seek to work with suppliers who share our environmental values, choosing eco-friendly and responsibly sourced products and materials wherever feasible. We have recently changed our cleaning products to those which are more environmentally friendly and contain less harsh or hazardous chemicals.
• Continuous improvement: We regularly review our environmental performance, set measurable targets for improvement, and engage staff in identifying opportunities to operate more sustainably.

This policy is communicated to all employees and contractors working on behalf of Countrifi Networks. Each team member is encouraged to support our environmental objectives through awareness, training, and personal commitment.

Countrifi will review this policy annually to ensure it remains relevant and reflects the growth of our business, changes in legislation, and advancements in environmental best practices.
